Coronation Beach is one of the most attractive and popular beaches along the Mid West Coast with both locals and visitors alike. It is considered to be one of the finest windsurfing locations in the world, and outside the windsurfing season Coronation Beach is popular with older visitors, many from interstate. Because of its popularity and attractiveness it is regarded as being a tourism asset of regional significance.
The sign marked turnoff for Coronation Beach is located approximately 28 kilometres north of Geraldton along the North West Coastal Highway with the 8 kilometre stretch of road to the campsite sealed all the way.
Limited facilities within this nature based park include:
- Good clean sheltered campsites and picnic shelters available within a short walking distance to the beach.
- Pit toilets and a shower cubicle for using solar shower bags etc.
- Communal gas barbeque provided in the day use area.
Conditions to be adhered to during your stay:
- The maximum stay permitted in any 12 month period is 30 nights.
- A camping fee of $20.00 per vehicle/per 24 hours is to be deposited in the collection box provided.
- Camping is only permitted within the designated areas marked 1-21.
- Camping beyond the Reserve is strictly prohibited.
- Camping within the day use car parking area is not permitted, unless otherwise authorized by the Shire Ranger
- The clearing or removal of vegetation for any purpose is strictly prohibited.
- The use of generators shall be limited to reasonable hours of operation as determined by the Shire Ranger (9:30pm).
- The lighting of camp fires is strictly prohibited.
- The fixing of temporary structures or hanging of items (such as clothes lines, tarpaulins, wetsuits etc) to the existing vegetation, barrier fencing or shade shelters is strictly prohibited.
- Rigging or storage of wind surfing and kite surfing equipment in shade shelters is strictly prohibited.
- The use of motorbikes (quads) is strictly prohibited in the entire Camp Reserve.
- Launching for wind surfers and kite surfers is to be within designated areas as per the beach signage.
- The communal gas BBQ is to be cleaned upon completion of use.
- Fish offal is to be placed in a sealed bag and deposited in the adjacent rubbish bin or disposed of out to sea beyond the reef area.
- All other rubbish is to be deposited into the designated rubbish bins.
- Dogs are to kept on a leash at all times.
Please Note:
- There is No Water or Power available. Campers are required to bring their own supplies; whilst generators are welcome conditions apply.
- There is no online booking facility, however a sign will be placed on the highway if campground is FULL (this is a popular facility during Peak Season).
- There is no EFTPOS facility available at the Campgrounds; fee payment is a Cash only system.
- Caretaker onsite to assist where possible.
Camp fees are set at Councils annual budget each year with a maximum stay of thirty (30) days for all campers per year.

Fig Tree Crossing Picnic & Camping Area
Spend some time in the picturesque heart of the valley. Located adjacent to the Chapman River on the Chapman Valley Road, Fig Tree Crossing is quickly becoming a popular place with Caravan and Camping travellers.
The camp site offers basic amenities including public ablutions, BBQ and several shaded seating areas.

Drummond Cove Holiday Park
Drummond Cove Caravan Park offers visitors the choice of powered or non-powered sites for caravans, powered or un-powered camping sites as well as self contained units that overlook the ocean or the surrounding bush.
Facilities at the park include an onsite liquor store with a bottle shop, a delicatessen with a range of everyday items, outdoor entertaining areas, and adventure playground.

Coro Park
Coro Park is a new campground, located 35 km north of Geraldton in Western Australia, on the door step of the world class wind, kite & foil surfing destination of Coronation Beach. (Coronation Beach Road, Howatharra, Western Australia)
- We are currently open to self-catering campers with ablutions coming in 2024.
- All of our bays are separated by bush, giving privacy, shade & wind protection. Our well set out bays, can accommodate all sizes of vehicles.
- Dogs welcome on leads at all times as we are a working farm and have livestock on the property.
- Some of our sites are elevated allowing for ocean views.
- There is direct access to the beach via walking trails.
