FIRE BREAK INFORMATION

Notice was given to all landowners in areas requiring compulsory firebreaks that these must be installed by 15 October 2024 and maintained free of flammable material as required under the Bush Fire Act 1954.

Due to the adverse weather conditions this winter which made accessing properties difficult at times, the Council allowed an extension of time for Firebreaks to be completed.

This date has been extended to 1st NOVEMBER 2024.
PROPERTIES WILL BE INSPECTED FROM THIS DATE TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH COUNCILS REQUIREMENTS.
