The Road Infrastructure Committee plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our Shire's transportation network. Committee members are tasked with conducting an annual review of crucial aspects of our road infrastructure. This includes evaluating the Road Works Program to ensure timely and effective maintenance and improvements, assessing the Road Hierarchy to optimize maintenance priorities and public safety, reviewing Heavy Haulage Vehicle Permit Roads to balance economic needs with road preservation, and examining the plant replacement program to maintain efficient operations. Additionally, you'll address any other works infrastructure items referred by Council. Your expertise and dedication is essential in ensuring our road network remains safe, efficient, and capable of supporting our community's growth and economic development.
