The Chapman Valley Sub Centre is requiring volunteers!  If you are interested in becoming an ambulance officer then please give us a call.

Dear Chapman Valley Resident,

I am writing to you on behalf of the local St John Ambulance Sub Centre.

We are a small but experienced branch of a large volunteer organisation that helps the community by providing a variety of services from local emergency response, inter-hospital transfers, sporting and event first aid posts as well as first aid training courses.

St John’s Chapman Valley provides an ambulance, manned by two officers to approximately twenty-eight events in total per year. Currently we have seven people who volunteer their time to help the local community cover these ambulance calls.

Many people donate money to charities as a way of giving back to their communities, we at St John’s are seeking interested people to donate some of their time instead. The Chapman Valley Ambulance service is looking for people who would be willing to join an amazing team, learn some invaluable skills and enjoy a great scene of worth.

As a majority of the calls for Chapman Valley are of a non-urgent nature you don’t even need to be living within a certain distance to Nabawa.

As a volunteer for St John’s you will be provided will all the training and support required, which can be delivered locally and is flexible. In addition to the initial training, Chapman Valley Sub Centre holds one training evening per month, being the first Monday of each month starting at 5.30pm.
