Notification regarding resolution to prepare a new Local Planning Scheme

 

The Shire of Chapman Valley advises that at the 19 July 2024 Council meeting, it was resolved to initiate the preparation of a new Local Planning Scheme (Local Planning Scheme No.4).

 

As per Part 4 of the Planning & Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 the Shire hereby provides notification of the resolution.

 

This notification advises that, within 21 days, you are invited to provide a written response setting out any recommendations in respect of the resolution and inclusions for the proposed Scheme No.4. The intention of the recommendations are to inform the preparation process relating to Scheme No.4.

 

Submissions must be lodged in writing prior to 4:00pm Tuesday 20 August 2024 and all written responses can be sent to:

Please note that this advice relates only to the initiation of a new Scheme, and further opportunity for comment will be provided by way of the formal advertising period once Scheme No.4 (text and maps) has been drafted.
